Entering a juried competition is somewhat of a crap shoot, as you never know what the judge will select for the show. Nevertheless, I am honored to have my image, “Among the Trees #2” accepted by the Center of Photographic Art to hang in their 2014 Jury Exhibition. It goes without saying that this organization has some deep distinguished roots in photographic history, so I am over the moon to be one of the 50 selected, out of over 1000 submitted images that were chosen by the curator of contemporary art from the Crocker Museum. It has been a dream of mine to someday have an image hang in this gallery. I guess it’s true if you keep believing, wishes may come true.
